President Donald Trump’s executive order, signed Jan. 27, to suspend the travel of immigrants, refugees or any citizens from seven Middle Eastern countries into the U.S. for 90 days caused a massive uproar, as protestors and attorneys flocked to international American airports to stand witness to immigrants being turned away or detained.
Locally, an immigration lawyer wonders about the constitutionality of the order and police are wondering if they will be drafted to enforce immigration law.
