Bike safety rodeo planned at rec center

GALAX – A free bike safety rodeo will be held Thursday, July 21 at the Galax Parks & Recreation outdoor park from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Youth of all ages and parents can bring their tricycle or bicycle and helmet.
The safety program will cover bike safety instruction, helmet fitting, bike equipment check and an obstacle course.
The rodeo is sponsored by the Galax Police Department, Twin County HCAT and Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth.
Rain date is July 28.
