Blue Devil golfers finish third in MED

Grayson County had a busy finale to its regular season golf season last week, playing four matches.
In a match played at Blue Ridge Country Club last Tuesday, Galax took first place 151-178, with Matt Downey taking medalist honors with a 1-under 34.
Tucker Phipps led the Blue Devils with a 2-over 37 followed by Dylan Isom 46, Gavin Bailey 47, Jacob Vaughan 48, Cole Davis 50 and Hank Choate 58.
Ed Hanks had a 37 for Galax, Jon Alouf 39 and John Bryant 42.
The Blue Devils beat Fort Chiswell 185-209 in a match played at Draper Valley Golf Course.
