Carolyn Maxwell Johnson, 92, of Sparta

SPARTA, N.C. -- Carolyn Maxwell Johnson, 92, of Sparta, died Jan. 26, 2012 at her home.
She was born Dec. 23, 1919 in Alleghany County, N.C., to the late Welter and Mae Taylor Maxwell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hall of Denver, Co.; son, Dr. Terry Johnson of Sparta; four grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Bill Humbert of Piney Creek, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
