Chambers and Patton win BRCC member-guest

GALAX – The team of Brad Chambers and Dickie Patton fought off several challenges to win the annual Blue Ridge Country Club Member-Guest tournament July 16-17.
Chambers and Patton shot a best ball score of 8-under 62 to take the first-day lead and followed it up with a 4-under 66 on Sunday for a 128 total and a 2-stroke victory.
Kyle Schaeffer and John Bryant claimed second place with rounds of 63-67 for a 130 total. Third went to the team of Frank McBayer and S. Britt with rounds of 65-67 and a 132 total.
