District Three notes changes and challenges

District Three Governmental Cooperative recently completed a successful fiscal year but faces challenges in providing an array of services for the area’s senior citizens and people in need of public transportation.
For the year that ended September 30, 2011, District Three Senior Services provided core services such as meals and home repairs to 6,431 area seniors, while the transit division logged over 190,000 one-way trips.
