CHRISTIANSBURG — A judge has granted a defense motion to postpone a sentencing hearing for David Eisenhauer, found guilty earlier this month of murdering 13-year-old Nicole Lovell.
Eisenhauer, who is from Maryland but listed Galax as his home address to claim in-state tuition, pleaded no contest to killing the teen in 2016 and hiding her body in Surry County, N.C., just south of the Grayson County line. He could face life in prison for those crimes, plus abduction.
