Ethel Fowler Gambill, 85 of Sparta, N.C.

SPARTA, N.C. -- Ethel Fowler Gambill, 85 of Sparta, died May 3, 2012 at Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta.
She was born April 10, 1927 in Ashe County, N.C., to the late Dewey and Bessie Hurley Fowler.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Gambill of the home; daughter-in-law, Susie Gambill of Sparta; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard Fowler of South Carolina, and Frank Fowler of Maryland.
Her funeral was held May 5, 2012 at Grandview Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Sparta, with burial in the Elk Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Sparta.
