Free flu vaccine available

Area health departments will offer free flu vaccine to people without a payment source and who have a documented medical high-risk condition.
Medicare, Medicaid, and many other types of insurance are also accepted without additional charge.
Evening hours until 6:30 on certain days have been added to all local health department flu clinics.
The Mount Rogers Health District is completing in-school vaccination clinics, said Dr. D. Craig Smith, health director.
