Fugitive from Tenn. nabbed at Whitetop

WHITETOP – A suspect wanted in Johnson County, Tenn., was arrested near the Virginia Creeper Trail in Whitetop last Tuesday.
Grayson County Sheriff Richard Vaughan said the Grayson County Department of Social Services received a report about a family living in their car near the trail.
Vaughan, Deputy Stacy Osborne and two Social Services staff members, were searching for the family when they were found parked near the trail.
“Evidently the father and mother and three children had been living in their car for two or three days,” Vaughan said.
