Funk honored on NAIA All- American team

The NAIA announced its 2011 Academic All-Americans for the sport of volleyball recently and two UVa.-Wise Cavaliers received the prestigious award. 
Megan Funk of Fries, a senior middle hitter, and Robyn Dougherty, a junior middle hitter from Nicklesville, Va., each obtained the honor.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.   In addition, the student-athlete must be a junior or a senior while also being in good standing at his or her institution.
