Galax police report busy week

GALAX – The Galax Police Department has been busy in recent days with drug and other arrests.
Chief Rick Clark said in a press release that Brittany Eller, 24, of Atkins, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine on Aug. 9. She was charged following a traffic stop by Police Officer Jody Poole. Clark said Poole’s observations led to the discovery of the alleged methamphetamine.
