In the midst of another harsh winter, how are your roads holding up? Are they in remarkably good condition? Do they need repair? Share your road name, and its condition, here.

On Rt. 805 (Spring Valley Rd) 1.2 miles East of US 21, there is a 2 ft. wide low depression where a culvert was replaced several years ago. It goes across the whole road and is very noticeable at low speeds and very, very noticeable at the speed limit. It rattles the chassis and could shake up the steering gear at higher speeds.

I have called VDOT twice, the first time several months ago and to date, the depression is still there. If you have any pull with VDOT, please ask them to get on it!!

Fulton Road has taken big hit this winter. About 40 "frost heave" areas with 2 large pot holes have formed. Getting bigger with each snow and rainl.

Thanks WalterW for your comment regarding Fulton Road.
Could you tell me a little more about the "frost heaves?" I've never heard that term before. Thanks for the information.
