The Grayson County girls fought back from a fourth quarter deficit last Friday to beat the Pioneers 59-54 in a Mountain Empire District game.
The Blue Devils (8-9, 4-2 MED) held a 14-10 lead after the first period and led 25-21 at halftime.
Fort Chiswell battled back in the fourth quarter to outscore the Blue Devils 19-14 to lead 40-39 after the third period.
But the Blue Devils didn’t give up and charged back to outscore the Pioneers 20-14 and come away with the win.
