Grayson JV golfers finish second in tourney

The Grayson County Blue Devil JV golf team placed second in the Mountain Empire District golf tournament played at Draper Valley Golf Course recently.
Galax won the tournament with a team score of 196, Grayson 206 and Fort Chiswell 217.
Colt Leonard led the Blue Devils with a 42 to take medalist honors. Other scores were: Jared Hunter 50, Micha Cornett and Laken Vaught 57; Alex Benish 58 and Cade Phillips who didn’t finish his match because of darkness.
