Imogene Davis Weddle, 89, of Galax

GALAX – Imogene Davis Weddle, 89, of Galax, died Jan. 29, 2012 at her home. 

She was born Aug. 16, 1922 in North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Weddle.

She is survived by her son, Darrell Weddle of Galax; one grandson; sisters, Ethel Woodcock of Brownsville, Ky., and Nellie Brooks of Rappahanock; brother, Elwood Davis of Ennice, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Feb. 1, 2012 at Monta Vista Cemetery in Galax with Dr. Tom Whartenby officiating.
