James Winston Gwyn, 68, of Independence
James Winston Gwyn, 68, of Independence, died Jan. 30, 2012 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax.
He was born April 28, 1943 in Galax, to Charles and Gretchen Tucker Gwyn.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Lelia and William Nelson of Alexandria; brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Charity Gwyn of Sparta, N.C., Thomas and Christine Gwyn of Kenosha, Wis., and Dean Gwyn of Galax; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements by Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home in Galax.
