Lions Club announces poster winners

The Independence Lions Club met Nov. 10 with six members present.
Co-chairman Mary Kelley presented the club five outstanding peace posters from Doris Halsey’s middle school students.
Winners of this year’s contest, with a theme of “Children Know Peace,” were Asheley Weimann, first place; Kara Moore, second place; and Claire Circle, third place.
