The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office has seized a moonshine still and more than 18 gallons of illegal alcohol in the Baywood community, according to a news release from the department.
On July 5, Grayson Deputy T. Jefferson received information from a couple of citizens about a possible moonshine still operation on Mount Olivet Road in the Baywood area.
Jefferson turned the information over to Lt. D. Ashby, who interviewed witnesses and obtained search warrants for 1090 Mount Olivet Road, as well as the property directly across the road from that address.
