More than 32 years of collective service to Grayson County will leave office on Dec. 31 as three outgoing supervisors prepare to preside over their final meeting this month.
Joe Vaughan (serving his third term as Providence District supervisor), Larry Bartlett (serving his third term as Oldtown District supervisor) and Doug Carrico (serving his second term as at-large supervisor) were each honored with a plaque during their final regularly scheduled meeting last week, as county officials thanked them for their service.
