Robert E. Lee Reedy, 84, of Independence, died Jan. 20, 2012 at Grayson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Independence.
He was born Oct. 22, 1927 in Mouth of Wilson, to the late Wayne and Belvis Spencer Reedy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Beard Danner Reedy.
He is survived by a daughter-in-law, Doris Reedy of Marion; step-brother, Gearl Cornett of Flatridge; step-sister, Juanita Odum of Monroe, Ga.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
