Directors of the Virginia/Carolina Water Authority are continuing to work out problems with the new water plant now in operation on the New River.
Bryan Edwards said last Thursday following a meeting of the Authority that it takes time to work out the “bugs” with a new system.
But Edwards gave the assurance that citizens could begin to hook on the system in the near future.
The plant is already pumping water to Independence and Sparta town systems when the plant operates properly.
