Twin County Family Care of Hillsville open

HILLSVILLE — Twin County Regional Healthcare opened Twin County Family Care of Hillsville on June 6, and welcomed Dr. Preston H. Edwards and family nurse practitioner Joy K. Creed as its staff.
Edwards joined the Twin County Regional Healthcare medical staff in September 2006 and joined Twin County Family Care of Hillsville on June 6.
He is a graduate of Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and has been board-certified in family practice since October 1977.
Creed joined the Twin County Regional Healthcare Medical Staff in September 2003 and joined Twin County Family Care of Hillsville on June 6.
She obtained her master of science in the family nurse practitioner tract from Radford University. She is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center for Family Nurse Practitioners.
Twin County Family Care of Hillsville plans to offer patients a wide range of services, including on-site lab and x-ray.
“We have received numerous comments from the community about their excitement with the providers and the services Twin County Family Care of Hillsville will be able to offer on-site,” said Jon D. Applebaum, president of Twin County Regional Healthcare.
The Hillsville location is one of eight outpatient clinics in the region that are affiliated with the Twin County Family Care Centers of Twin County Regional Healthcare.
