U.S. 58 bridge over Big Wilson Creek: Signals are controlling one 10-foot-wide travel lane at the Route 58 bridge over Big Wilson Creek due to bridge repairs. (Completion: mid-June 2011)

Route 94 bridge: Work is underway to construct a new Route 94 bridge over the New River. The current Route 94 bridge is closed and will remain closed while the new bridge is being built. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and pay close attention to signs leading traffic around the work zone. Motorists and trucks can detour around the bridge by using Routes 94 and 274. Local traffic wanting to travel from Fries to Galax can utilize Routes 606 and 721 across the low-water bridge to Glendale Avenue. (Completion: Summer 2011)
