Grayson County head football coach Brett McPherson had a keen eye on his offensive unit during practice for the Grayson County Blue Devil football team last week. Quarterback Max Rodgers was working on his hand off to running backs. Practice opened last Monday with a benefit game, which doesn’t count in the standings, against Floyd scheduled Aug. 19. The Blue Devils will open their season Aug. 26 against the Alleghany Trojans.
