Wytheville Community College is sponsoring its free monthly Bluegrass and Old-Time Jamboree, this time featuring Willard Gayheart and Bobby Patterson and the Slate Mountain Ramblers on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 7-9 p.m.

Cult Of Dionysis is returning to its roots back to Independence this Saturday with some old school rock and roll and heavy metal.

This concert will Include performances by local favorites, DREAD, Annabell Leigh, The Misconception Attempt and Monstrok. This is a heavy metal lineup that is sure to rock the house. All ages are welcome. There will be something for everyone, so grab your granny and head on out to the hottest metal show around.
