Walmart, known for its huge supercenters, will try something new in the future – Walmart Express.
Wal-Mart Stores announced plans last week to open its first Walmart Express in rural Gentry, Ark.
The 15,000-square-foot store will carry only the items customers need on the spur of the moment, such as milk, eggs, and DVDs.
Wal-Mart, the world’s largest retailer based in Bentonville, Ark., plans to build 15 to 20 Walmart Express stores by the end of fiscal year in January 2012.
