Community remembers Grayson Highlands student

Taylor “Tator” Shayne Pauley, 12, fatally injured in ATV accident

TROUTDALE -- The community is remembering Grayson Highlands School sixth grade student Taylor “Tator” Shayne Pauley, who lost his life as a result of a May 3 Troutdale ATV accident. Taylor, the 12-year-old son of Lori Ross and Lester Pauley, succumbed to injuries suffered during the accident, which was in the area of Razor Ridge Road, according to a Grayson County Sheriff’s Office news release. Members of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and Troutdale and Rugby rescue squads responded to the 6:30 p.m. accident.
