Fant to run for second term on county board

At-Large supervisor seat will be on the ballot this November

INDEPENDENCE — Col. John Fant has announced that he will seek re-election and has been certified as an independent candidate for the Supervisor At Large seat in Grayson County.
The seat is up for re-election Nov. 5. Fant is currently running unopposed, according to the State Board of Elections database.
Col. Fant won the At-Large Supervisor seat in the Nov. 2015 general election.
During his last campaign, his three major areas of focus were small business development, vocational education, and communications infrastructure.
