Fire claims contents of Elk Creek outbuilding

Fire Department confirmed no reported injuries

ELK CREEK — Elk Creek Fire and Rescue and Independence Volunteer Fire Department volunteers completed a quick knockdown of a fire that claimed all of the contents inside an outbuilding on April 30.
According to a fire report from Elk Creek Fire Chief Brian Billings, Elk Creek firefighters were dispatched to an older outbuilding used to store outdoor equipment and tools on Wagon Wheel Road at approximately 12:30 p.m. The call to dispatch was made by a neighbor.
