Supervisors to school officials: honor requests or no extra funding

INDEPENDENCE – Take it or leave it. That’s what the Grayson County Board of Supervisors wants the school board to know about the proposal it is offering to give $1.1 million above the required minimum funding for the school system in the coming fiscal year. The supervisors voted 5-0 last week at a special continued meeting to send the reminder to the school board.
